Sustainable Aviation Fuels Become Standard for Commercial Flights
The aviation industry stands at a critical juncture, facing unprecedented pressure to decarbonize its operations. For decades, the sector has relied heavily on conventional jet fuel, a primary contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions. However, a significant paradigm shift is underway. Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs) are rapidly transitioning from niche experimental projects to the cornerstone of commercial flight strategies. This transition is not merely a regulatory requirement but a strategic imperative for airlines aiming to maintain social license to operate and meet ambitious climate goals.
